We want students to learn English in a fast and effective way without wasting time and energy. It is important for both our students and teachers to accomplish this
We basically try to have our lessons enjoyable for our students and teachers.
We would like our students to learn at least ten new
vocabulary, phrases, idioms or appropriate sentence
which express an idea in each lesson.
We would like our students to be internationally minded
and be able to communicate in English without hesitation
when they go to other countries.
We care about our students as well as our staff members. |

Our English teachers are all native English Speakers and we take advantage of the latest technology such as internet and computers. We record all the audio data such as songs, text book contents, and chants on computers. This way, we can use some American English during the lesson even if the lesson is taught by a non American teacher. Children in particular can pick up the tone and inflection from these professional speakers through mimicking of the audio. With this audio too we can experience different accents from around the world and we can also fulfill some student's requests for American English.
Our belief is : as English words come from children's mouths
faster and faster the more used to and natural it will be
for them to use English when they grow up and have many things
to say for themselves. And it will probably be without a trace
of a Japanese accent. For children, we would like them to
be fond of English first, and when they grow up, we want them
to be able to communicate in English without hesitation and
with an international sense of culture.. We want to take advantage
of children's amazing memory capacity during their early years.
We believe in learning through doing. So for adult classes the teacher is not explaining words and grammar using Japanese explanations. The teacher is constantly asking questions related to hundreds of current topics and is helping with and correcting the student's answer. The teacher is listening more than talking. We believe if you want to listen to English you can watch TV, see a movie, listen to the radio. If you speak with another person in English you will get a chat.
We would like our students to learn English as quickly as possible without wasting time and energy that is why the lesson time is for students to speak, to be challenged for vocabulary and topic, and to have their mistakes fixed up one by one in a sensitive way.
In our preschool our teachers love children. We have preschool and kindergarten experienced English teachers and Japanese teachers. Our preschool activities are taught in English.
The most important goal of our preschool program is to help children become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and to think their own thoughts. Our goal is to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive learners. |
