imageThe 3rd Halloween Party for Kids - ( which is getting better each year! ) has just been held. On October 29, many children and their parents attended the party with weird and wonderful costumes! We opened a preschool this April so we had more smaller children than before. There was a party in the morning for younger children and one in the afternoon for older kids. All the students had to speak in English at each game or event corner with the teachers. At the photo corner Barry, who was in a slightly scary costume and mask of Scream, welcomed the children. They enjoyed having their picture taken with Barry in the photo corner specially arranged with the colors orange and black. Some students were a little afraid or surprised but most enjoyed themselves a lot! At the corner of Spider Ring Toss, Dracula was waiting for the children! Of course everyone knew that was James. The children also enjoyed making pumpkin baskets and having a face painting on. Did they do "trick or treat"? Yes! This year they went to the room next to the main hall by themselves and had to say to the teacher with a ghost mask on, "Trick or treat?" After spending about an hour with games and crafts, everyone gathered in the center and practiced singing the song for Halloween Parade. Then, finally we all went outside. We had our first parade. It was supposed to be rainy, but it was just right weather for a parade at that time. The children and their parents followed Barry and enjoyed walking and singing for about 15 minutes. A lot of people were watching the parade with the cute children in nice costumes. At the end we took some pictures together. Everyone enjoyed the Halloween Party this year. We look forward to seeing more students and friends next year.
