| Summer School 2005 Report |

 From July 25th to 29th, we had a 2 to 4 year old summer preschool class in the mornings and 5 to 8 year old summer kinder school in the afternoons. At first, some children seemed a little apprehensive at who might come or who would be their teacher, but as soon as activities began everyone joined in and started enjoying themselves. Those who had already been coming to our regular classes came to summer school excited about what new activities they would be doing. This year's themes were "Ocean", "Sky" and "Hawaii". Children enjoyed summer activities with Music & Movement, Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Group games and Story time. Playing fun and interesting activities with teachers and friends gave them a strong focus and positive learning environment, plus learning English all the while. Many mothers took advantage of the spot care system to leave their children for extra hours. Children as well as teachers really enjoyed themselves and a lot of spontaneous laughter was heard during the summer school classes. |
